Boris Acosta-Jaramillo's upcoming album, Echoes of Origin, represents a profound journey of musical rediscovery and exploration. Recorded in the fall of 2023, this project emerged during a time of transition as Boris adapted to life in Southern California post-pandemic. Embracing newfound creative impulses that had long been dormant, he crafted a collection of musical narratives that resonate with authenticity and emotion. Released by Blue Frog Records, the album reflects a commitment to artistic integrity and collaboration, featuring performances by double bassist Rob Thorsen, drummer Andrew Munsey, and saxophonist Paul Nicholas Roth. Echoes of Origin captures a unique aesthetic that enhances the listening experience, inviting listeners to embark on their own journeys, transforming personal memories and emotions into a shared musical experience.
